About The Author
Spondon Ganguli
Spondon Ganguli is presently working as an educator in M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, a renowned and reputed English medium school in Howrah and Kolkata region under the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
He started his career as an educator at ICT in the year 2000 and worked in various schools (under both CICSE and CBSE) across the country.
He was a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and his schooling was from KV Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) and KV Shaktinagar (Uttar Pradesh). He is an M.Sc in Computer Science and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
He has previously worked in schools viz., Apeejay School (Charkhi Dadri), St. Stephen’s School (Kolkata) and Pearls of God (Hooghly) as an ICT faculty. He also paid his service to the Military Farm at Bengdubi (Darjeeling) as a trainer-cum-operator prior to coming to the teaching profession for one year.
He is a lifelong learner with a zest for experimenting and learning new things. Apart from teaching computer science and programming, his other areas of interest are reading books, listening to music and painting. He is also having keen interest and artistic ideas about fashion designing, interior designing, and photography. He was also associated with dramatics as an active member in “Prithvi Manch Theatre & Production” for ten years and acted on stage in various dramas with different genres ranging from social to mythological. As a result of time constraint, he could not have been an active member on stage for sometimes now. Apart from these, he has started his journey of authorship in the year 2019. Some of his stories and poems has been published in different online magazines – “The Thinking Pen”, “Hatpakha”, “Channdam”, to name a few. He is the author of three books till date. His first poetry book titled “Forgotten Love Unforgotten Love” is published as his first solo work in literature. Two fictions “Let Me Hold Your Hand” (English), “Phira Asha” (Come back) in Bengali are also published. To summarize, he is a multi-talented individual, humble, a good listener and a nature lover.
